Your MAN does want your LOVE. There is one thing that is more important to him than your love. Unfortunately, most men feel that they are not getting enough of it and to add an insult to an injury, most women don’t even have a clue about what that is. Probably you are thinking that it is S**. You are wrong! The ONE thing men want more than your LOVE is your RESPECT. Why is respect so important to a man? I am glad you are asking-I will tell you. Beneath that seemingly confident masculine exterior, a lot of how your man feels on the inside comes from how he sees himself in your eyes. If he is not feeling respected by you, whose opinion matters to him most, how else is he going to gain the respect of anyone? For him to feel loved, he needs to feel respected by you. And for him to feel respected, he needs for you to show him your respect. BOTH in times when you are happy with him, AND when you are feeling frustrated.
Please don’t get me wrong: respect is important to both the man and the woman in a relationship. Nevertheless, women usually don’t realize just how important respect is to a man and how it affects his feelings of love and commitment towards his woman. This may be a bit difficult for women to comprehend. No matter how much you love your man, there may be instances when you have shown him disrespect even without being consciously aware of it. You may be saying that you already respect him, but you will be surprised to discover that he does not read from the exact same script. A man needs you to actually show him that you respect him. The paradox however is that he won’t be able to tell you when he senses a lack of respect. Instead, what you notice is ‘excessive’ display of anger in silly disagreement for no reason. Let’s take a look at how you can consciously start showing your man respect and by extension show him your love.
For men, our strength, our nature, our identity our masculinity and pride is deeply rooted in our ability to earn a living and be a provider. If we can’t provide an ‘acceptable’ standard of living for our family and those we care most about, we feel like a failure. Most men sink into depression if they can’t find a way out after losing a job. We are so closely involved with our finances that we become so attached to and possessive over the money we receive. After all, we work so hard to earn it, we say to ourselves. For most people, money has replaced God as their security. We feel as if we can handle any situation as long as we have money. We have a temporal, shallow feeling of security when we have money in our pockets. If we don’t have money, we feel we are in need.
It is not so much that we love money itself; it is that we love the feeling of security: We love the feeling of control, power and pride that money produces. These feelings replace our need for and dependence on God and give way to the controlling power of greed. We become involved in the ‘love of money’ that the Bible warns us about. The plague of greed has wrecked great havoc in marriages, families, governments and the society than many people are willing to admit.

Valuable Lesson: “Until you discover something that you are willing to die for, you have not started living yet.” #KigwaStephen Most people journey through life working so hard till the day they exit the voyage of being human. I guess that you probably know someone like that and chances are high that you are. But for what? Why would someone work so hard all his life just to feed, house and cloth himself? Just to keep living up until the day that life is snapped out of them and they die but leave others behind in pursuit of the same fate. There has to be something more to life than just the mundane activities of working so hard every singe day just to benefit you. You have got to view life beyond yourself; beyond your survival and beyond your needs. You have got to elevate you consciousness to another dimension of living. Oh yes! There is another dimension to life and living that births true riches and brings ecstatic fulfillment to the soul.
