The two months break from school is a very critical moment for the teenage boys and girls. They will be faced with constant alluring suggestions of all kinds in our neighbourhoods, especially in the urban set ups: Countless number of readily available leisure activities and temptations that appeal to their untamed passions present a real threat to their well-being. Though unfortunate, it is a fact that quite a number of teenage lives are ruined during the long holidays. As a parent, you certainly wouldn’t want that to happen to your son or daughter.
One of the greatest joys for any parent is to see their teenage son or daughter evolve into a responsible individual. Responsibility however is not something that just happens: It has to be inculcated into the young minds much the same way you would install a software to your computer. The question that begs is: ‘What are you going to do, as a parent, to help your teenage son or daughter not to fall prey?’
Beginning 20th of November 2023, Life Seminars will be hosting this year’s Teens Mentorship Campus (TMC) for teenagers-both boys and girls in high school. The objective is to equip them with the much needed mentorship and coaching to point them in the right direction and help them conduct themselves responsibly. The discussions will be centred on real life challenges that teenagers face and the insights will be anchored on the Christian faith.
Our theme for this year is ‘BECOMING THE WONDER I WAS BORN TO BE’. Please ensure that your teenage son, daughter, niece or nephew participates in this year’s TMC. The program will run for five days consecutively-9am to 4pm from Monday the 20th of November to Friday the 25th November.
