Imagine that you and I are having a private conversation over a cup of coffee in your Living room. I want you to seriously think through what I am about to ask you and find candid honest answers to these questions. How is it with you? Are you living or are you trying to make a living? If you are currently trying to make a living, when do you plan to start living? In your honest opinion, is your life getting better in every way? If yes, what supporting evidence do you have for validation? If not, what are you doing currently to change it? Don’t you realize that if you are doing nothing about it, it is going to deteriorate?
Is your life getting better? If you are not getting better, you are getting worse. There is no middle ground at all. Don’t let life make you bitter when you can make it better. Are you generally a happy person and happy about the direction your life is taking? If you are not happy about your life now, how long are you going to postpone your happiness? Happiness or lack of it, is often a very clear and loud indication of how well or poorly you are doing as a human being?
What income level are you producing? Is it enough for you to live the way you want and as comfortable as you need to be? If it is not, what are you planning to do to increase your earning ability? Your earning ability is one of the major assets you have.
Are you as healthy as you should be? If not, what are you doing to ensure that you are as energetic, vibrant, agile and as healthy as you need to be to enjoy life and accomplish your life’s goals? Do you have goals in the first place? Are your goals big enough to make you someone else in your attempt to reach them? If yes, what are you doing every day to achieve them? If you have no goals, then you have never been serious with your life.
Are your relationships with the most significant people in your life uplifting, stimulating and fulfilling? If not, what are you doing to mitigate that? Are you at peace with your maker? If you went to sleep tonight and never rose up again, where would you spend eternity? If you are not sure about this, you need to connect with your heavenly father right this very moment. You never know why you are reading this today. Take just a moment to make a prayer to connect yourself with God. Don’t delay; Do it NOW!
